SK Reels

Challenge: The Training & Development department, and the company at large, has tons of leadership ("soft skills") related resources, including one page lessons and 5-10 minute standard Rise microlearning courses. However, none of these are readily available, or in a useable format for people working on the production floor. 

Solution: A series of microlearning courses that act like Instagram Reels. They are easily accessible on a phone or iPad right inside the program the production floor uses every day. These Reels should take no more than about 5 minutes to complete.

Results: This is still in prototype and being rolled out to key stakeholders for broader adoption. The ultimate goal is an increase in the retention rates of frontline leaders, an increase in the rate of raises and promotions among frontline leaders, and a decrease in stoppage time as leaders have leadership tools and vocabulary to solve interpersonal problems more efficiently. If the first Reel is a success in Fall 2025, more will be created.
