Project Title: Learning Management System (LMS) Migration to Docebo - Phase 1
Challenge
Our organization needed to transition from a legacy LMS (Alchemy) to a modern, scalable platform that could better support automation, reporting, and a growing library of eLearning content. Ultimately, Docebo better suited our needs and saved the company $50,000 annually. The migration required not only selecting the right system but also building its structure from the ground up while ensuring minimal disruption to learners. A major challenge was migrating and organizing 700+ SCORM courses while creating a streamlined user experience and automating complex enrollment needs.
Solution
As co-manager of the change management project, I collaborated on the platform selection process and led the design and implementation of Docebo’s initial build. I designed and configured the LMS menus and pages to align with our learning strategy, created a course template for consistency, and migrated over 700 SCORM courses. To ensure scalability and efficiency, I established automated user groups, implemented automation rules to manage user lifecycles, and configured enrollment rules to deliver the right training to the right learners at the right time. These foundational steps laid the groundwork for a phased rollout across the organization.
Results
Successfully launched Phase 1 of Docebo LMS on schedule, saving the company $50,000 annually.
Migrated and standardized 700+ SCORM courses with consistent branding and navigation.
Reduced administrative workload through automated user and enrollment rules, eliminating many manual assignments.
Created a scalable LMS structure that supported a multi-stage rollout strategy, allowing for continuous growth and improvement.
Improved learner experience by delivering training through a streamlined, user-friendly interface.
Project Title: Docebo Roll Out - Phase 2
Challenge
Following the successful platform migration in Phase 1, our next step was to expand Docebo adoption across the three companies in Premium Brands’ North American Sandwich Division (NASD). This rollout required onboarding over 2,500 associates, empowering HR and Safety teams as Power Users, and ensuring a smooth transition for employees unfamiliar with the new platform. The challenge was balancing system adoption with minimal disruption to critical compliance and onboarding training.
Solution
As the chief LMS manager and administrator for NASD, I led the rollout of Docebo across all three companies. I trained and equipped HR and Safety teams as Power Users, creating clear job aids to guide them in uploading new hires, enrolling users in courses, running ILT sessions, and supporting learners. I implemented a limited, phased notification strategy to ease associates into the system, ensured courses were consistently labeled and tagged for intuitive navigation, and developed user-friendly resources to help employees log in, access training, and complete required learning plans.
Results
Successfully rolled out Docebo LMS to 2,500+ associates across three companies in NASD.
Established HR and Safety Power Users, reducing dependency on central administration and ensuring local ownership of training.
Created comprehensive job aids, increasing Power User efficiency and consistency in supporting New Hire Orientation and compliance training.
Improved learner experience by implementing clear course labeling and tagging, making content easier to find and complete.
Increased adoption and reduced user confusion by deploying a gradual notification strategy tailored to the rollout.
Project Title: Docebo Expansion - Phase 3
Challenge
With the LMS established across multiple companies, the next phase focused on driving engagement, improving managerial visibility, and reducing administrative and operational inefficiencies. Existing training relied heavily on paper-based equipment observation checklists, creating cost and storage burdens. Managers needed better tools for overseeing their teams’ training, and multilingual employees often received up to six separate versions of the same course due to language duplication.
Solution
I designed and implemented advanced LMS features to enhance adoption and efficiency. This included integrating gamification elements to increase learner motivation, expanding targeted notifications to improve timely engagement, and building a more robust training program for managers to leverage the My Teams function for oversight. I transitioned observation checklists into Docebo’s digital environment to replace paper-based processes and prepared all courses for migration into Docebo’s upcoming multi-lingual course format, which will consolidate language versions into a single course assignment.
Results
Rolled out gamification features to encourage learner participation and improve course completion rates.
Delivered targeted managerial training on the My Teams function, increasing visibility into team performance and compliance.
Introduced digital observation checklists, paving the way for a paperless process that eliminates recurring ink/paper costs and increases efficiency in tracking equipment safety.
Prepared transition of multilingual courses to new multi-language support, reducing assigned courses for some associates by up to 6x, simplifying training plans and lowering cognitive load.
Positioned the LMS as not just a compliance tool, but a strategic platform for engagement, efficiency, and cost savings.
